Name the decision
A useful starting point is a specific decision made by an identifiable person. Define the information currently available, the practical limitation and what a better outcome would look like before selecting a tool.
Keep responsibility explicit
Data quality, uncertainty and human oversight belong in the design of an operational use case. A prediction alone does not establish the appropriate action or replace accountable professional judgment.
